Iran film ‘Negar’ poster unveiled on eve of release

A new poster for Iranian movie ‘Negar’ by Rambod Javan has been unveiled on the eve of the film’s theatrical release.

Javan’s latest cinematic feature film, ‘Negar’, is featured in a new poster, prior to the film's opening across the country’s theaters.

The picture’s cast includes names such as Negar Javaherian, Mohammad Reza Foroutan, Mani Haqiqi, Ashkan Khatibi, Peyman Moadi, Afsaneh Baygan, Atila Pesyani, Alireza Shoja Nouri and Rambod Javan.

‘Negar’ won a nom for Best Soundtrack Crystal Simorgh at the 35th Fajr Film Festival in Iran.

The film tells the story of a girl whose economically-struggling father dies due to excessive pressure in life. Fishy circumstances surrounding the case lead a historian to review the last days of the man's life in order to understand the origin of his story.

The film’s script is written by Ehsan Goudarzi.

Rambod Javan began stage acting in 1991, although he is known more for being a comedic actor.
